future of nuclear power

Let's be honest with ourselves and admit that the only possible future of the world's energetics lies with nuclear power. We can speak as much as we like about gas and oil but sooner or later we will not be able to rely on these sources of energy.. They are limited and non-renewable, destructive to environment in many ways. Besides, locations of oil and natural gas deposits on the world map are erratic.. which created conditions for their unfair distribution between countries.

These days, when primary importance of nuclear sources of energy is realized so far by few of the world's elite we can see some of its representatives trying to create same unfair conditions for spread of peaceful nuclear technologies all over the world. More likely, to deepen this unfairness, because basic obstacles for transfer of technologies and specialists already exist...
We can also see this in attempts to connect proliferation of nuclear weapons and the sperad of the peaceful nuclear technology, made by Henry Kissinger in his publication in Newsweek:

"...But the spread of technology—especially the technology to produce peaceful nuclear energy—has vastly increased the feasibility of acquiring a nuclear-weapons capability."

If this idea prevails, the world will not be getting any fairer as the era of traditional energy resources such as oil, natural gas and coal will be coming to an end. All benefits from the nuclear power technologies will be available only to those few who control their spread.
